Lisa Kron Will Host IT Awards; Lanford Wilson to Be Honored

Tony Award-nominated playwright and actress Lisa Kron will host the 2010 IT Awards, recognizing achievements in the Off-Off Broadway community, Sept. 20 at Cooper Union.
The sixth annual Innovative Theatre Awards ceremony has also announced special honors for the evening. Playwright Lanford Wilson will receive the Artistic Achievement Award; Dixon Place will be presented with the Stewardship Award; and the Caffe Cino Fellowship will go to the New York Neo-Futurists.
Astoria Performing Arts Center artistic director Tom Wojtunik will direct the 7 PM event. The 2010 IT Award nominations were announced July 19.
