Tom Hanks thrilled children by pretending to be his Toy Story character when filming outside a store.
The actor voices Woody in the animated film franchise, which has been a hit with kids the world over. while shooting scenes for his new movie Larry Crowne outside Kmart in Burbank, a man shopping with his two small kids immediately recognised him. The gent pointed to Tom and told his children it was Woody, and Tom decided to play along.
“Hey guys, what’s going on?” he yelled, in the voice he uses in the movies.
The two kids stood amazed, and then began giggling uncontrollably. Tom continued chatting to them in Woody’s voice, and then began discussing Larry Crowne with the growing crowd.
Tom has written, directed and starred in the upcoming movie, which is about a man who loses his job and so decides to totally change his wife by going back to school. it also stars Julia Roberts and Taraji P. Henson.
