Woman accused of attacking Leonardo DiCaprio to stand trial
A woman who attacked Leonardo DiCaprio with a broken beer bottle was ordered to stand trial Thursday.
Aretha Wilson, 40, is accused of attacking DiCaprio with a broken beer bottle outside a 2005 party, leaving him with a bruised and bloodied face. Wilson, a Canadian citizen, was recently extradited to the United States to face charges.
Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Edmund Willcox Clarke Jr. found there was sufficient evidence for Wilson to face a trial for assault.
The actor suffered injuries to his neck and face during the attack.
Earlier this year, a judge ordered Wilson to stay away form DiCaprio.
