2012 People's Choice Awards Nominees: 'Glee' leads with Lea Michele
"Glee" is no stranger to award season. The Emmy-winning series is often recognized by critics and fans alike. On Tuesday, the full list of nominees for the 2012 People's Choice Awards was announced, honoring "Glee" in multiple categories. In total, the show received seven nominations, beating out "Vampire Diaries" and "Modern Family."
In addition to being nominated for Favorite Network TV Comedy, several actors were recognized for their individual work. There is some stiff competition this year again. Facing off against "Modern Family," just as with the Emmys, "Glee" will have a tough road.
Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Chris Colfer are all nominated for individual awards. In addition, Gwyneth Paltrow and Kristin Chenoweth were all nominated as Favorite TV Guest Stars. Check out the other contenders:
