Even the supposed biggest earner did not earn substantially big as well. The Justin Timberlake starrer 'In Time' earned only $2.388 million in Aussie theatres. With only a 36% critics rating and 60% approval rating on RottenTomatoes, it would be interesting to see how this film would make it when the cinema situation gets back to normal.

So where were the Aussies this weekend? Trick-or-treating, perhaps?

In Sydney, a thunderstorm was forecasted but it was a no-show. Families could have opted to stay indoors to stay safe. Box office sales are expected to pick up again barring bad weather and other factors that could make moviegoers choose to stay away from theatres.
