MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 15, 2011 - This holiday season Best Buy shoppers can use their mobile device to give back. The retailer today announced it will donate $2 to Boys & Girls Club of America for every mobile Facebook check-in as part of Best Buy's first-ever Facebook Check-in for Charity program. Best Buy has committed to donating up to $250,000 to the non-profit organization.

 "At Best Buy, we believe that part of the holiday spirit is giving back to those around us," said Brian J. Dunn, CEO of Best Buy. "That's why this year we are offering our customers an easy way to support the Boys & Girls Club of America, simply check-in to Best Buy on Facebook when you visit one of our stores and we'll donate $2."

From November 18, 2011 through November 27, 2011 Best Buy Facebook Check-ins will result in a contribution to the Boys & Girls Club of America. Best Buy is proud to be a long-time supporter of Boys & Girls Clubs of America helping equip millions of youth with technology skills vital for academic and career success.
