Jeff Green has left town with Danny Ainge to seek another opinion on his medical condition.

Doc Rivers said moments ago that he expects to know the full prognosis tonight for Green, whose problems appeared while taking a stress test as part of his physical last week.

Green has yet to participate in a full practice. He's been limited to light shooting.

Rivers said he does not know how the Green situation will play out, but the coach is already planning for the eventuality that he will not be available.

The Herald reported today that, according to sources close to Green, he is expected to be fine in the long term, but he may require a surgical procedure in addition to medication to reach that point.

Green seems in fine spirits today. He has been active on his Twitter account.

About an hour ago, he tweeted, "Why dont people have candle light breakfast? Be different people lol don't always do candle light dinners"
