Croatian director dances the night away with Angie and Brad
Young Croatian director Danilo Serbedzija should be very happy about a recent promotion of his Oscar-candidate hopeful "72 days" (72 Dana) in Los Angeles.
The two screenings attracted much of Hollywood's elite that included actors Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Annette Bening and directors Phil Robins and Peter Medak, amongst others.
Jolie and Pitt came at the invitation of their good friend, actor Rade Serbedzija. The screening was followed by a party at a Bosnian restaurant where the stars enjoyed traditional meat specialty cevapi and red pepper spread ajvar that Jolie allegedly adores.
The couple was also seen dancing the night away.
Serbedzija’s movie received positive feedback from many of the guests.
"Angie said that the movie was great. Everyone was praising the actors, especially Mira Banjac and Zivko Anocic. American director Phil Robins asked me ‘who is that genius’ about Zivko."
American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will decide whether to list "72 days" amongst candidates for next year’s Oscars in January.
