Emmy Rossum feels empowered by "edgy" spring fashions.
The stunning actress embraces the bright colours and expressive patterns of the season.
Emmy, who is featured in a fashion editorial for Self magazine's upcoming issue, enjoyed donning the seasonal garb for the photoshoot.
"I had so much fun in these clothes – they're feminine with an edge," Emmy told Self. "[I like wearing clothes that are] classic-with-a-twist."
Emmy enjoys outfits with clashing colours and patterns. Pairing high-fashion pieces with cheap basics for the shoot, Emmy was impressed by how the contrasting elements created a one-of-a-kind look.
"It's liberating to mix it up, pairing stripes with florals or wearing two brights together," Emmy explained.
"It makes your style unique."
Emmy is a fan of following fashion trends. Sampling diverse styles is one of the actress' favourite pastimes.
"It's not like cutting your hair," she laughed. "You can always take the sweater off!"
