I always thought cobalt was a darker almost blackish-blue. These colours are blue but more a hue of electric blue almost royal blue but certainly not cobalt.- Amanda Martin. – Actually Amanda, cobalt is a bright blue and more on the lighter than the darker side. Perhaps you are thinking of Prussian blue which is a dark rich blue or Payne's grey which is ultramarine and black. These dresses are all blue but not all cobalt. Some are ultramarine, cerulean, French navy and plain old navy.
