Choreographers hailing from Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C., will take part in the 29th Annual Choreographers' Showcase at 3 and 8 p.m. Saturday at the Dance Theatre of the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center.

The showcase, adjudicated by J.R. Glover and Joseph Fontano, will celebrate the talents of a new generation, including Charli Brissey, Graham Brown, Justin Lewis, Tzveta Kassabova, Mark Orsborn and Justin Myles, Vijay Palaparty and Nalini Prakash.

Tickets are $27 for general audiences and $22 for subscribers, UMD faculty and staff, seniors and Alumni Association and $9 for students and youth.

Looking for something more freaky? Joe's Movement Emporium is the place to be Friday evening, when the Cheeky Monkey Sideshow presents "Fabulous Freaks and Feats of Wonder."
