Harrison Ford Wants Indiana Jones Dead?

Harrison Ford wants his famous character Indiana Jones to meet his end – at least according to rumors. Ford's representatives have quickly responded to the hearsay, calling the reports false.

It was originally reported that Ford talked to filmmakers George Lucas and Steven Spielberg about having Indiana Jones killed off in the film franchise's fifth installment.

An “insider” was originally quoted as saying, “Harrison thinks it would be good for Indy to die and pass on his hat to his son in the next one.”

The supposed insider also went into detail about Lucas's and Spielberg's reactions: “George especially is resisting the notion but Steven is considering it. Funnily enough Harrison wanted the same for Han Solo in the final 'Star Wars' but George put an end to it. this time he doesn't have all the say though.”

The next Indiana Jones script is being written, and Shia LeBeouf, who starred in the last film, said of it, “I got called into Steven's office and he pitched a little bit to me and it sounds crazy, it sounds really cool."
