I did a hydrogen breath test for bacterial overgrowth, I've been having strange stool and upper right quadrant pain under my rib. At 2.5 hours into the test I blew 24 on the test, then it dropped, and a half hour later blew 26 and test ended. Could this be what has been causing my intermittant back aches and abdominal pain for 4 months?

The doctor said I could try rifaximin for a week and see if that helps. does anyone that has SIBO or IBS know if this will help?
