Inception a box office hit
Inception. The word will bring confusion and fascination to the minds of millions for decades.
Released in July, the movie was full of face paced action, interesting characters, and the frame work of an interesting plot that at first seemed difficult to follow.
Junior accouting major Austin Hooser said that he saw the film while studying abroad in London. "I think it was one of the best movies of recent history," Hooser said.
like many others, Hooser said that the film stirred a lot of questions in the mind of viewers.
"It makes you have a deep consideration for what love is," he said.
The plot of the film focused on the idea that certain individuals could insert their minds into another's while dreaming, and while doing so, implant an idea through a dream. "Not the usual idea of ‘what is reality,'" said Hooser. "But, what does it mean to accept reality?"
The movie was so popular among students that it was shown in Rudder Theatre on Nov. 5 for a one dollar admission fee.
The film starred Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen Page, and Cillian Murphy, among a few other recognizable up and coming actors, said the Internet Movie Database. Written, produced and directed by Christopher Nolan, Inception breaks boundaries and sets the bar for action and thriller flicks for years to come.
