Is Miguel Cabrera worth takeing in the first 5 picks of my fantasy baseball draft?

The others teams in my league think it was a stupid move to pass on matt holliday and chase utley for miguel cabrera with the 5th pick. are they wrong or have I just made a bad mistake with my first round pick??

It's wasn't a bad move. He has more help in the Detroit Offense than he had down in Florida.

I think its a toss up really. I think Matt Holliday is amazing, but Cabrera has 150 RBI potential with that lineup.

People are concerned about his weight but you have to consider that the Tigers have the best lineup in all of MLB!

No trust me he is worth taking in the top 5. I've seen him taken as high as 3 and I've taken him at pick 4 in two of my drafts. He should only improve in that Detroit line-up and look what he could do when he didn't have a line-up. Cabrera could be the best fantasy player this year and you'll be smart by picking him at the end of the year. plus even if he just has a year like he did last year he's almost as good as Holliday or Utley
