Yes it's true, Michael Jordan's son plays basketball and he's good. His name is Marcus Jordan. He may not be at quite the level his dad was but he's still finishing up high school. His team won the state championship and his skills are very well honed.

He has only gotten offers from Toledo to play basketball so far. That is shocking, because think of the crowd that could be pulled if the team has the son of Michael Jordan playing for the school A school that normally sells 20,000 could easily sell 40,000 tickets due to that selling point.

Before anyone writes him off, thinking he'll never be close to as goood as his dad was, let's consider some things. First off, Jordan didn't even make his high school team on his first tryout. He never took his high school to the State Championship. He didn't start his first year at North Carolina. Then if you consider the fact that Marcus Jordan is being taught all of his dad's physical and mental tricks, he has an edge on his competitors. Most people pay big money to go to Jordan Basketball Camps and he usually just makes an appearance or two and has yet to reveal any tremendous basketball secrets. People still aren't sure if it was hard work and dedication or talent that gave him that extra something over his rivals. Maybe we'll never know. But if Marcus even comes close to accomplishing what his dad does through the course of his career, we'll know that greatness can be taught.
