Tall Grass at Waubonsie
The Tall Grass Lightning attended a dual meet hosted by the Waubonsie Waves on June 28. Tall Grass swimmers won 11 relays and Waubonsie took nine.
The Waves had triple winners in Ethan Staub, Kristen Ernst and Dean Pineda. Tall Grass had the same from Maddie Hunt and Eric Weng.
Double winners for the Lightning were Megan Devine, AJ Carollo, Wyatt Otto, Aleva Steffl, Elmer Weng, and Kelly O’Toole. Waubonsie’s double wins were Jacqueline Yap, Gabrielle Pineda, Stephan Ernst, Anna Prilutskiy, Isabella Pytel, Aoife Kelly, Shashank Singh and Claire Matta.
Those with single wins at Tall Grass included Reilly Devine, Quinten Otto, Brooke Eickenberg, Bailey York, Molly Devine, Alex Zielinski, Jake Cornwell and Scott Zielinski. The single winners for the Waubonsie Waves were Kai Motoyama, Aran Swamy, Gabby Rinon and Kimela Srey.
Cress Creek at Steeple Run
Visiting Cress Creek traveled to Steeple Run on June 28 and won 12 relay events, while the hosting team won the remaining eight.
Sarah Pliml, Grant Bochenski, Brandon Nyland, Michael Hu and Joseph Yuan captured three first-place finishes while Alex Hogenboom, Danielle Hailmann, and Ella Bochenski won two first-place finishes. Maizy Spreitcer, William AO, Kent Lang, Samantha Pietsch and Jeffrey Himmelblau were single first-place winners.
Their guests, Brenna Hill was a triple first-place finisher while Tracey Dispensa, Evan Zimmerman, Cole Eckholm, Tyalor Stoner, Becky Welch, Kevin Kielma, and Nicole Marcus were double first place finisher. Ryan Schickerling, Clair Brown, Mike Blaha, Claire Hamilton, Rachel Kennedy, Mitch Evans, Maggie Fitzgerland, Christopher Brown, Megan Simonson, Dree Kinder and Madelin Blaha finished the meet with single first-place finishes.
Maplebrook II at Farmstead
Maplebrook II visited Farmstead on June 14. Farmstead won 14 relays and Maplebrook II won 6. Farmstead’s 200 Medley Boys Relay Team of Matthew Wooten, Phillip Sajaev, Michael Stern and Ryan Eiermann set a pool record of 2:05.38.
Triple winners for Farmstead included Michael Stern, Tabitha Torres and Kent Lullo. Kent Lullo set a new team record of 19.89 in the 25 yard 8U Boys Breaststroke. Maplebrook II’s triple winner was Jessica Sanford.
Double winners for Farmstead were Steven VanDeventer, Tony Zhang, Emma Rose Ilseman, Susannah Ilseman, Matthew Wooten, Lisa Johnson, Danielle Coudreaut, Sam Rodgers, Henry Mills, Taylor Walk and Matthew Johnson. Maplebrook II’s double winners included Brad Sanford, Liam Coakley, Julie Albright and Julia Hagenbaumer.
Single winners for Farmstead were David Ortega, Matthew Stern, Caroline Aemmer, Nora Lullo, Alli Hansen, Alex Miller, Max Paul and Caroline Li. For Maplebrook II, single winners were Sawyer Jackson, Sean Stablein, Eric Gerlach, Jessica Sonner, Morgan Sokol, Caitlin Culhane and Jacqueline Kaufman.
Huntington at Farmstead
Huntington Commons visited Farmstead on June 18. Farmstead won 13 relays while Huntington Commons won 7. Farmstead’s 200 Medley Boys Relay Team of Zac Bianucci, Phillip Sajaev, Michael Stern and Matthew Wooten set a pool and team record of 1:59.87.
Triple winners for Farmstead included Tony Zhang, Brian Calabrese, Lisa Johnson and Kent Lullo. Kent Lullo set a new pool record of 15.09 in the 25 yard 8U Boys Freestyle. Huntington Commons triple winner was Elizabeth Weinewuth.
Double winners for Farmstead were Michael Stern, Emma Rose Ilseman, Sam Rodgers, Chloe Gibbons, Caroline Li and Taylor Walk. Huntington Commons double winners were Rebecca Weinewuth and Claire Russell.
Single winners for Farmstead were Steven VanDeventer, Kristian Altuve, Leslie Calabrese, Rachel Valentine, Sydney Weeks, Eric Lullo, Quinton Gabrielli, Natalie Hey, Zac Bianucci, Phillip Sajaev, Kevin VanDuerm, Alexander Guo, Danielle Coudreaut, Isabella Danca, Max Paul, Parker Thorne, Tabitha Torres, Ryan Kimberley and Matthew Johnson. Cress Creek at Tall Grass
On June 25, the Tall Grass Lightning hosted the Cress Creek Country Club Rebels. The two teams split the 20 relays contested, with each team winning 10 races.
The Lightning had a triple winner in Reilly Devine and double winners in Ella Glorioso, AJ Carollo, Bryan Ellig, Lily Hunt and Taggart Lohman.
Single Tall Grass winners were Taylor Tobiason, Maddie Hunt, Cole Steffl, Otto Wyatt, Hanna Hunt, Connor Eggenberger and Sarah Bengtson.
The visiting Rebels had triple winners in Julianne Horne and Julian Eiken, with double winners in Jaclyn Mehring, Ryan Flynn, Andrew Eiken, Tatum Imbrugia, Adam Cook, Olivia Eiken, Andrew Cook and Jimmy Calvo. Single winners for Cress Creek Country Club were Chris Dionesotes, Jake Hoeppel, Tate Stensby, Sophia DiMonte, Adam Sturtz, Maddie Thompson, JP McAveeney, Ellie Bognar, Lexi Nash, Cambria Swanson, Colin Flynn, Savanna Swanson, Jenny Horne and Dan Pinkerton.
Visiting Neuqua Otters travelled to Ashbury on June 18 and won 12 relay events, while the hosting team won the nine.
Jacob Fisher, Lucas Becker and Daniel D’Autremont captured three first-place finishes, while Joe Lopes, Blake Kuebelbeck, John Ruan, David Lesniak, Chrstopher, Cottrill and Sydney Hertogs captured two first places, and Danile D’Autremont, Brianne Pirkins, Jacob Hall, Jacob Cunningham, Emily Baptista, Adriana Lopez, Amanda Schmitt and Vincent Lee were all single-place finishers.
The host team Ashbury Alligators Allie Dvorchak, Sathy Subramanian, and Wyli Erlechman captured three first-place finishes while Payton Griffith, Megan Dobrolinsky, AJ Quinn captured two first-place finishes, and Max Boyd, Jimmy Eriote, Rowan Olson, Raegan Oliver. Mia Estopare, Jessica Woolford, Nicole Wlash, Robert Vechiola, Sarah Neary, Ainsley Greever, Megan Ciezczak, Clark Minnerick, Elaine Carroll, Kristin Stege, Nikhil Joes and Natalie Carter were all single-place finishers.
Maplebrook at Huntington
On June 11, the Huntington Barracudas hosted the Maplebrook I/YMCA Marlins. Huntington’s triple individual winners were Steven Missak, Claire Russell, Michael Nerud and Amy Price.
Double winners were Katie Watson and Mary Kate Hansen.
Single first-place winners were Jack Hansen, Tommy Hennessy, Jack Mirabelli, Kryra Hartley, Lauren Hennessy, Abby Green, Tillie Inglis and Jack Dresbach.
The Marlin’s triple individual winners were Maria Villa, Sagan Seeling and Brandon Tran. Double winners were Andrew Li, Stephanie Bobb, Bernadette Villa, Juhi Mahajan and Jeffrey Cheng. Single first-place winners were Luca Seeling, David Dykstra, Sam Holzhauer, Ben Holzhauer, Tiffany Cheng, Alex Lakin, Michaela Miller, Andrew Kroll, Nicholas Bobb, Sydney Tran and Herman Lee.
The Marlin’s won six of nine medley relays. The Barracudas won six of 10 freestyle relays.
Maplebrook II at Huntington
On June 25, the Huntington Barracudas hosted the Maplebrook II Blue Dolphins. Huntington’s triple individual winners were Elizabeth Weinewuth, Steven Missak, Claire Russell, Michael Nerud and Amy Price. Double winners were Beth Carlson, Jack Mirabelli, Sean Doyle and Hannah Weinewuth. Single first-place winners were Eric Allen, Katie Watson, Claire Ovens, Carly Richards, Rebecca Weinewuth, Sean Murphy, Lauren Hennessy and Cameron Berg.
The Blue Dolphins triple individual winner was Brad Sanford. Double winners were Drew Knapp, Alexa Puccini, Charles Yang and Ryan Smith. Single first-place winners were Lily Clermont, Jessica Sanford, Eric Gerbach, Jonathan Wrobel, Morgan Sokol, Mateo Lopez, Caitlin Culhane, Pat Stablein, Liz Hayes, Alison Laper, Adam Wade, Jimmy Fox, Rebecca Schlesinger and Kyle Stablein.
The Barracudas won five of nine medley relays. The Barracudas won six of 10 freestyle relays.
Ashbury at Stillwater
The Stillwater Starz hosted the Ashbury Alligators in a dual meet June 25. The visiting Alligators won 12 relays and the home team won seven.
Triple winners for Stillwater include Tara Blanzy, Brady Quinlan and Kevin Zhu. A triple winner for the Alligators is Wyli Erlechman.
Double winners for the Starz include Michael Degnan, colin Teng and Mia Van Someren. Double winners for Ashbury include Elaine Carroll, Natalie Cater, Will Dykstra, Sal Eriotes, Jillian Erlechman, Eric Guo, Rowan Olson and Kristin Stege.
Single winners for the Starz include Paige Blanzy, Patrick Jordan, Faith Mordach, Patrick Quinlan and Robert Zhu.
Single winners for the Alligators include Zachary Dilger, Kaitlyn Gorski, Peyton Griffith, Tim Karubas, Joshua Knutson, Kyle Kovarik, Jose Navarro, Hannah Neary, Drew O’bryan, Devon Olson, Julia Stege and Rachel Stege.
South Point at Ashbury
Visiting South Point Stars travelled to Ashbury on June 14 and won seven relay events, while the hosting team won the remaining four.
Alex Dvorak, captured three first-place finishes, while Mathew Struble, Cole Sampias, James Tidd and Alex Harter captured two first place finishes and Madeline Sell, Adam Sheid, Erin Palubin, Lauren Harder, Natalie Mollway, Ashley Sterchele, Natalie McGovern, Ashley Wightkin, Kali Frankowiak, Liam Davis, Alex McDaniel, Dillon Schiller, McKenzie Lang, Karmi Kourosh, Tayllor Stumpe, Barrett Power, Jack Farnan, and Alex Waegne were all single-place finishers.
