Let your successful business partner do all of the taking- Once you complete the introductions your job is done.All you have to do at that time is listen.This accomplishes two things.It lets your prospect know that your successful business partner is worth listening to and, more importantly, it lets them know that they do not have sell people when they are introducing new people to the business.This can take a lot of the pressure off of a new person.
Ensure that next steps are clear when you get off the phone- After a three-way call a person will either want to join your business, decide the business is not for them, want to try the product or decide they need more information.No matter what they decide, make sure that you schedule the follow up meeting.If you do not do that, then you may have to start the entire process all over again.
