If you want to cancel auto renewal for your Norton 360, you can do it through your Norton Account. Once signed in, go to Automatic Renewal page, and uncheck the box for the product for which you want to turn Auto Renewal off. Then, click onto the Update button.

I cancelled automatic renewal. now I would like to turn it back on. How do I re-instate auto renewal?

Just as when you cancelled auto renewal, you log into your Norton account, and go to Automatic Renewal tab. there, check the box for the product you want to auto renew, and click onto Update button. in case that you don't see Automatic Renewal tab, you'll need to enter your payment information first (credit card). Symantec needs this information so they can charge you automatically at the time of renewal.

Is Norton 360 trial version same as a purchased one?

Norton 360 trial version software has the same functionalities as a purchased version.

Why I have to provide payment details in order to download Norton 360 trial?

Norton 360 free trial is called opt-out trialware as Symantec asks you to enter your payment details although it will not charge you for downloading and using the trial version on the day you go through this action. the reason for this is to setup your account which is used to charge you if you continue using the Norton 360 product after the trial period has expired. the charge will happen even if you do not use the product for the trial period.

How do I cancel Norton 360 trial so I don't get charged?

If you don't want to be charged for trying Norton 360, it is important to opt-out (to cancel) from your trial period at any time before it expires (normally it is 30 days). You can do that through your Norton Account, or by contacting Symantec support.

I was too late to opt-out from Norton 360 free trial. I still want my money back. What should I do?

If you got charged for Norton 360 free trial, but you actually wanted to cancel it and not to use it, you have to contact customer support representative in your region and ask for a refund. You have 60 days from the day of charge to ask for a refund.

If you have your Norton 360 installation files on a CD, just insert the CD into your CD-ROM drive and follow the on-screen instructions. Norton 360 Settings

I don't want updates to download during my peak Internet period, so is there any way I can set a certain time, (i.e. 10am), for when Norton 360 downloads updates?

In Task Scheduling, under Scheduling tab, you can set updates to run at the certain time of the day. You can also set updates to run only when manually requested through the Norton 360 interface. It is strongly recommended to run updates frequently in order to have the up to date protection.
