Hip-hop fans have been duking it out on Twitter over today's trending subject – Who is the worst rapper alive?

Bay Area eccentric Lil' B is so far out ahead he's become a trending topic all of his own, with one tweeter insisting, "Rap is dead thanks to Lil B."

However, the next most nominated emcee – Weezy F. Baby – has fans all over the internet ready to end friendships. "Please be realistic," announced @iAmBig7. "Anyone say LIL WAYNE I'm blocking & unfollowing u."

Tyler, the Creator and his Odd Future crew aren't far behind but it's Young Money that are catching the serious heat, with one commenter suggesting "#WorstRappersAlive Lil Wayne, Birdman, Tyga, ALL OF YOUNG MONEY."

Even Nicki Minaj – who's had a great year so far with a Grammy nomination, a Super Bowl performance alongside Madonna this weekend and record-breaking VEVO video views – should be looking over her shoulder.

@DonoLBW tweeted: "If Nicki Minaj keeps bringing out garbage like "Stupid Hoe" she might make that #WorstRappersAlive list..smh i used to like her before."

While @YoWillyWonka co-signed the Barbie hate, adding: "#WorstRappersAlive nicki minaj, stupid hoe just ruined your career. you the female weezy? cool story bro."
