19 year old singer and actress, Selena Gomez has revealed that she is set to do a bit more acting next year but she also plans to continue with her music. Selena Gomez, who is currently dating teen pop heart throb Justin Bieber, released her album, When the Sun Goes Down earlier in the year, which she was very proud of, and has also released the movie Monte Carlo, as well as the TV show, Wizards of Waverly Place.

Gomez explained, “I’m very happy and pleased with how well the record did and I’m so thankful that radio and everybody is still being so supportive.” She then continued by adding, “Next year I’ll be starting to do more acting, I’ll be doing two films in the beginning and then I’ll probably go back to singing.” It has already been confirmed that Selena Gomez is set to star alongside Vanessa Hudgens, Emma Roberts and James Franco in the movie Spring Breakers, which is set to begin shooting in the Spring of 2012. Meanwhile, it is expected that she will begin to record her next album towards the back end of 2012, with a 2013 release date in mind.
