Seriously but is there a reason that Mennonite women do not shave their legs?
Personally I don't see shaving as a modesty issue but an act of charity towards ones husband.
Other women should follow their lead.
It's the same reason French women don't shave theirs. But they can't tell you why. It's a secret that has to do with why French and Mennonite make such delicious pastries.
Cooincidence? I think not.
lol that's funny XD
The other day we drove by a mennonite compound or w/e and it looked like a crazy apartment building o.0
but apparently they raise amazing chicken/turkey so they can be as hairy as they want as long as I get to keep eating the poultry :)
Actually, It's not specifically said that a woman shouldn't shave her legs. therefore it's more of a personal choice. because Mennonite women are often very busy with household things, they do not find the time to stop and shave their legs or paint their nails. Plus, the bigger reason is that it is seen as a vain practice that comes too close with the world… they believe that you should love what God gave you.
