'The Vampire Diaries' Cast: Vote for Show, Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder for People's Choice (Video)
The Vampire Diaries and its cast are up for a few People's Choice Awards, and like other nominees, they haven't been shy about turning to the fans on social media for votes. Now they have a video online as well urging their fans to keep voting for their favorites.

The TVD cast (Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, Kat Graham, and Joseph Morgan) has put together a video (below) urging their fans to vote. The show is up for Favorite Network TV Drama against The Good Wife, Grey's Anatomy, House, and Supernatural, and for Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show against Fringe, Supernatural, True Blood, and The Walking Dead. Those are some pretty strong shows that The Vampire Diaries is going up again, but with the cast urging their fans to vote, it wouldn't be surprising if they walked away with at least one People's Choice Award.
Joseph Morgan also urges fans to vote for Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev, who are each up for separate awards. Somerhalder is up for Favorite TV Drama Actor against David Boreanaz (Bones), Hugh Laurie (House), Nathan Fillion (Castle), and Patrick Dempsey (Grey's Anatomy), while Dobrev is facing off against Blake Lively (Gossip Girl), Ellen Pompeo (Grey's Anatomy), Emily Deschanel (Bones) and Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives). Kat Graham is sure Dobrev will win her award, even giving a bit of a call-back to the show when she says she will "slay like she does the vampires." The girls have even put together a cute, somewhat cheesy, cheer to show their appreciate for their fans. Will this video help The Vampire Diaries pick up some People's Choice Awards?
