Honestly, I don't find it hard to believe.

Really? he pays attention to the foibles and faults of the political establishment and points it out humorously but he does have serious intent behind the comedy I believe. I think he is very concerned about how out society is becoming less informed. I think the "Sanity" he refers to is the uncivilized behavior of people in this country. he is educated, informed and astute.

I think the poll is incorrect, and irrelevant. No idea, other than a comedian, who Jon Stewart is. he certainly doesn't influence anyone I know. Then again, depending on what group you ask, and how you word the question, one can get any answer sought.

I don't find it hard to believe. at least the viewing audience realizes that his is a comedy act. give me him as #1 over the #21 choice anytime. #21 has some clever skit writers, but all of the people can't be fooled all of the time.

I like him, but most influential? that is just sad~!
